Two winters ago, when I moved to "upstate" Manhattan to recover from personal and professional setbacks, I had no idea what awaited me in the spring. Roses, dahlias, and daisies in my courtyard all but ordered me to photograph them. Soon the bouquets on Broadway called, and when things were really looking up, London.After a few months of incessant picture taking, it occurred to me I’d developed a genuinely rosy outlook.
