Treks in the City: The Little Red Lighthouse

Hard to believe a hurricane was here a few days ago. Guess that's why the sign near this functional monument reads, "The light still shines."

Now let's have another look at the busiest motor vehicle bridge in the world and the river beneath it.

I love the little red light house! Perhaps you should paint it? Hmmmm. I also love how you see beauty everywhere!

HOOrAY that the light for the lighthouse still shines. They have a festival for the lighthouse in Oct; we will have to go together as it is super fun with games and hayrides. They even open it up for tours but the tickets go super fast so it is best to be there right when the festival starts.

Jersey side has a lovely park just under the GW also. I've a few pictures taken there. I think I also have a snapshot or two taken from above from when I worked at the heliport. Thanks Alice. :-)

It's thrilling to be under that massive bridge...especially by that sweet little lighthouse. Have you explored the bridge itself on foot or bike? It is quite exhilarating!
